Syed Azahedi is freelance photographer and aspiring writer from Johor Bahru, Malaysia(MY). He is currently based in Petaling Jaya, MY but frequently returns to his hometown. He pursued a BSc in Bioinformatics at University Of Malaya(UM) and graduated with honours in 2005. Having delusions of becoming a scientist, he took up a position as a research assistant at the Virology Lab in UM, an experience he found exhilarating initially, tedious occasionally, and distasteful eventually. He decided to explore new things in life and naturally gravitated towards his keen interest in photography and writing.

Currently, Syed works as a sub-editor for a local English daily. Syed Azahedi's photographic portfolio may be viewed on this website through the Photography link in the menu above. He has experience photographing numerous types of events, including weddings, corporate dinners and seminars. He is available for bookings.
